Celebrating the Risen Christ

The Stations of the Resurrection, also known as the Via Lucis (Way of Light), reflect on the joyful events following the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. These moments remind us of hope, renewal, and the promise of new life through Christ.

Station 1 - Resurrection
Risen Lord, fill us with the joy of your victory over death, and help us to live as people of hope. Amen.
Station 2 - Empty Tomb
Lord Jesus, help us to recognise the signs of your presence even when we struggle to understand. Amen.
Station 3 - Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene
Loving Lord, speak to us in our hearts, that we may know you and follow you faithfully. Amen.
Station 4 - Emmaus road
Lord Jesus, walk with us in our daily lives, and open our hearts to understand your word. Amen.
Station 5 - Breaking of bread
Lord Jesus, reveal yourself to us in word and sacrament, and strengthen us in communion with you. Amen.
Station 6 - Jesus appears to disciples
Lord Jesus, speak your peace into our hearts, and fill us with your Spirit. Amen.
Station 7 - Forgiveness
Merciful Lord, teach us to forgive as we have been forgiven, and to be instruments of your peace. Amen.
Station 8 - Thomas believes
Lord Jesus, strengthen our faith, that we may trust in you even when we cannot see. Amen.
Station 9 - Shore of Galilee
Lord Jesus, be with us in our work and daily lives, and guide us to trust in your provision. Amen.
Station 10 - Peter restored
Lord Jesus, restore us when we fall, and call us again to serve you with love. Amen.
Station 11 - Mission to the world
Risen Lord, send us out in the power of your love, and make us faithful witnesses of your Gospel in the world. Amen.
Station 12 - Ascension
Risen and ascended Lord, lift our hearts to heaven, and help us to live in the hope of your glory. Amen.
Station 13 - Waiting for the Spirit
Holy Spirit, teach us to wait with faith and patience, trusting in the promise of your coming. Amen.
Station 14 - Pentecost
Holy Spirit, fill your Church with fire and power, that we may proclaim Christ boldly in all the world. Amen.
Closing Prayer

Risen Christ, you have filled your disciples with joy and courage. Send us out in the power of your Spirit to live and proclaim your love, now and always. Amen.
